Our client requested a modest remodel of their Mid-Century Modern home. The floorplan we were given was piecemeal and lacked flow; spaces were undersized and awkward. Our aim was to bring the house into the modern era while preserving its character. Offensive walls were removed, vintage wall coverings and cabinetry were reused, and the house was opened up to the surrounding site's breathtaking views.
