This project, built on the site of a home previously lost to wildfire, is clad in metal siding with no exposed wood. The walls are built with ICF construction — a "sandwich" of concrete with two external layers of insulation.

The house's unvented, mono-slope roof has no valleys that would collect debris or embers; a vented roof is an outdated practice, while a lack of vents both safeguards a building from fire and drastically improves energy efficiency.
