We are very proud of the genuine connections we've made with every one of our clients, our collaborations with them and the designs that have resulted in those collaborations. Looking back, the previous incarnation of our website wasn't as flattering to our work as it could've been. Small, uniform text and constrained photos weren't conveying our vision and personality, which are so much of what sets us apart.
That's why we're incredibly proud to unveil the reimagined hartwrightarchitects.com. Featuring more intuitive navigation, a modern, photo-forward aesthetic, and an organized way of sharing the inspiration and thoughtful details that elevate each home we design, it's as close as you can get to meeting us in person.
A story of sustainability
Through our updated journal and featured projects, we'll lead you through the decisions and discoveries that brought dozens of dream homes to life, all the while emphasizing responsible, sustainable use of materials and methods.
We believe in reusing and repurposing everything we can, along with taking weather and geological conditions into account, opting for the perfect amount of insulation, solar technology when appropriate, and designing around the unique benefits offered by a home's surroundings.
Take a look at how we transformed a hillside home, putting it at peace with the scorching sun without sacrificing its stunning vistas. We've even undertaken the challenge of designing a home that can stand up to the destructive force of California wildfires.
