This densely packed 3 bedroom three bathroom house replaced a 1940s cottage with a disappearing foundation. The brief called for an indoor outdoor 2 story. A casual light filled house with minimalist detailing and a waterproofing system that is El Nino certified was provided.

A confused 1950’s San Mateo house with loving parents needed reorganization. Limes were provided, lemonade was made. Walls were swept away and the house is ready for a party. Three custom furniture pieces were also provided.

We designed an additional 1200 square feet to this workman’s cottage built in 1882. The existing house had1800 square feet and the design vastly improved the layout as well. There is a rear two story addition and a further extended 1 story addition with roof deck and lower level master suite.
